Meet Lauren Hoffman
HR Professional, Coach, Consultant, Changer Maker


Meet Lauren Hoffman, the founder of With the Current Solutions. Originally from Miami, FL, Lauren spent a formative decade residing in the Carolinas, where her journey in human resources truly began to take shape. It was during her time in North Carolina that Lauren discovered her passion for HR and Organizational Design, realizing it was her true calling.

Proudly holding a degree from Appalachian State University, Lauren embarked on her professional career with a strong foundation in industrial-organizational psychology. She further honed her expertise by earning a Master's Degree in HR Management, solidifying her commitment to empowering individuals and organizations.

Throughout her career, Lauren has held diverse roles in esteemed organizations such as NC State University, Duke Health, IQVIA, Royal Caribbean, and Med Lab, alongside valuable consulting engagements. These experiences have equipped her with a deep understanding of human capital management and organizational dynamics.

Driven by her passion for helping others succeed, Lauren pursued certification as a Life and Executive Coach through Symbiosis Coaching. This allowed her to further support small businesses in optimizing their greatest asset: their people.

With a keen understanding that a team is only as strong as its weakest link, Lauren is committed to fostering employee growth and development while guiding companies in implementing sound HR practices. Moreover, Lauren is a certified PDA Analyst and Positive Intelligence Coach, providing invaluable insights into the inner workings of employees in the workplace.

Throughout her career, Lauren has embraced diverse roles, serving as a project owner for creating a cutting-edge digital office, managing comprehensive benefits programs, playing a pivotal role in a successful merger and acquisition, introducing innovative training management systems, and leading transformative manager training programs.


Her leadership also extended to her tenure as VP of Membership for the Raleigh Metro SHRM organization. As a passionate wellness champion, she fervently promotes a culture of mental and physical wellbeing. Her global perspective is enriched by her experience facilitating mass recruitment events on an international scale.

Throughout her career, despite attending countless seminars on employee wellbeing and performance, Lauren recognized a recurring challenge: the disconnect between strategic planning and practical implementation. This realization ignited her passion for focusing on her true calling—performance, mental wellness, and skill-based development.
